Antibiotic Tablets

Gabapentin is an antiepileptic medication. When given for epilepsy, it is believed to work by reducing the abnormal electrical activity in the brain, thus preventing seizures. It is also used to treat nerve pain where it blocks pain by interfering with pain signals traveling through the damaged nerves and the brain.

Linezolid is used to treat certain bacterial infections in many different parts of the body, including certain types of skin infections or pneumonia. Linezolid belongs to the family of medicines called antibiotics. It works by killing bacteria or preventing their growth.

Valproic acid, a fatty acid, and its sodium salt, sodium valproate, became established as the most used antiepileptic and mood‐stabilising drug worldwide from the 1970s onwards. They are most commonly used in the treatment of epilepsy and manic phases of bipolar disorder.
